My idea for this series began with customers repeatedly stating that they would love to have some basic jewelry with colorful stones that they could wear with numerous outfits, without the high cost of buying multiple pieces. I
designed the Harmony Collection with this in mind. This collection includes a Botanical series, a Geometric series, a Mandala series and a Sea Life Series and includes rings, earrings, bracelets and pendants. My goal is to provide a variety of selections and stones to appeal to different fashion preferences. The stones are all uniform in size per piece and can be interchanged easily. I will be adding additional pieces to each series as I complete them.
My process is to draw a design, then hand carve it in wax and use the lost wax casting method to create a finished piece or master. I hand finish the master, making modifications as necessary, then mold the master for multiple future castings. These pieces are cast in sterling silver, and hand finished, adding soldered hinges and clasps and patina. Custom orders are welcome and these items can be cast in other metals, such as gold, platinum, and even bronze.
